Restoration Services
ICR offers many restoration services.
One speciality is stripping and refinishing front door systems. Many historical doors are made of woods that are no longer available for purchase or are uniquely shaped to a home. Keeping and refinishing the existing door usually saves the homeowner thousands of dollars and has a far better end result than trying to replace the door. The first door in the gallery had been painted for over 80 years. From a small chip in the paint, ICR discovered it was made of Sweetgum and encouraged the homeowners to refinish it. They were very happy with the result.
